    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend US History (I didn't take AP but that was the only option, so this is for not AP). I think it's good and interesting to learn about our past. History can help us learn why things happen in our society and how to fix it. For example in the 1920s, everyone thought they would never run low on money and that the stock market could never crash. But all of that in the 1930s. We learned from the mistake.

    Course highlights:

One of my favorite things I learned in US History was learning about the 1900s. We learned about the music and entertainment of the decades along with the basic history class stuff. I enjoyed learning about those things and like to compare to the decade we live in now.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

If you pass attention and take notes in class, then you'll be fine. Also, study before the tests. Go through your notes and make sure you know all you need to. Also, quizlet.com is a great help.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It prepared me for the AP exam (I got a 4!) and was enjoyable. He connected it to real life and didn't leave history to be a boring subject that students couldn't connect to.

    Course highlights:

I loved the modern events and discussions we held in the class. Even as a fairly shy person, I got to be involved and voice my opinion

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to do your work. It's not that hard, but it will hurt you if you don't put in enough effort

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Cunningham is a great teacher and makes what could be considered "uninteresting material" fun to learn. There is a good deal of reading, and it is vital that you stay on top of it for the reading quizzes, but overall, this class was fun. When the teacher is motivated, it makes the student motivated, and that's exactly what you'll find here. One of the best classes I took in high school.

    Course highlights:

The highlights for me were definitely the parts about JFK and his presidency (and assassination) as well as learning about the Civil Rights Movement. Also, the Jazz unit was so, so fun. We jammed out to jazz for a whole class period.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

DO YOUR READINGS EVERY NIGHT. It is vital to stay on top of the readings because they are tested and the reading quiz scores are a great boost on your overall semester grade if you do well.
