Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it was very engaging and you learned a lot about animal life and how biology works. To me, the learning experience was also influential in that you learned how to work in groups and how to cooperate.

    Course highlights:

To me, the best experiences in Zoology 1X were the dissections and the ability to understand how the environment operates with different animals. We learned a lot of information, but all of the information (at least to me) was incredibly interesting and amazing.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Mostly, I would recommend that students keep up with the information and try to have a good memory. Memory was key in this course due to the overwhelming amount of knowledge and facts that comes with the study of life and how it is structured. Also, make sure to study hard for the tests because everything learned is something that is tested over.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because in zoology you experience hands-on learning which is always a positive thing in my opinion. Dissecting and getting to see in person the different classes and types of animals throughout the school year is so cool, so if you're interested in hands-on learning, getting up close and personal with animals, insects, or reptiles, then this is the course for you.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were dissecting the sharks and minks. Dissecting these two animals was very intriguing because there were so many body parts on the both of them that were similar to the human body. I learned over 50+ parts and was very proud that I accomplished that.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are considering this course then I would highly recommend that you are comfortable with touching animals, insects, and also comfortable with looking at them. Also, be prepared for unit packets with 15+ pages of work and vocabulary that you will have to turn in in a weeks time. Other than that, zoology is fun.
