Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course is super relatable to real life, and that’s important (and hard to come by) in a high school student’s life.

    Course highlights:

I loved learning about psych disorders most, but everything was great.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Have fun with notes and vocab! If you make them colorful, it’s easier to study them!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Psychology is a fascinating subject, and I believe that it's both important and fun to learn about the way our brains function.

    Course highlights:

For one, the teacher was amazing. Apart from that, our class did lots of group work and individual projects that were interesting and informative. We learned about connections made in the brain, neurons, important figures in psychology, different experiments, and more.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you're at all interested in the most complex thing in the universe, rat studies, human studies, consciousness, unconsciousness, and more, I definitely recommend jumping at the chance of taking this course.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to students because you learn about so many interesting topics dealing with society and what causes people to act the way they are. You also learn about disorders and certain parts of the brain, along with their function.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about certain psychological disorders and what triggered them. I also learned information about the brain, stages of REM sleep, and what causes us to be fooled by tricks magicians perform.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise you to study a new topic the night you receive it instead of a couple of hours before a test and asking questions if something confuses you. Psychology is fun, but you'll also have to put in the time and dedication to the course. Sometimes when we did terms it could be hard because we get at least more than 15, but when you study when you first receive them it makes it easier to recall the information.
