Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

AP Literature is a great English course that allows you to analyze text thoroughly.

    Course highlights:

I’ve learned to analyze themes, syntax, motifs, etc within short stories and apply it to the author’s reasoning.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in class and on the AP exam, you have to actually read your assignments and fully understand them.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I like the teacher for this course, but if you aren't good with a lot of essays I wouldn't recommend this class. To get the college credit you have to take a big test at the end f the year, so if you don't think you'll be able to pass you should take a dual enrollment English class since it's easier to get the credit.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course were some of the books we read, novels like "A Paris Wife," "The Sun Also Rises," and "Crime and Punishment" were my favorites. I also learned a lot more about poetry which I didn't know much about.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to do all the homework and study for all the tests and quizzes. She also gives pop quizzes on books a lot so make sure you do the assigned reading.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is all about how you work. I personally wouldn't take this course if i knew what I was stepping into. This course is all about reading and poetry. If you are about to be a senior in HighSchool your plate is gonna be stacked if you take this course as well.

    Course highlights:

I mean I gained a lot. I learned how to read a book throughly and see details you wouldn't normally see if you didn't know what to look for. I also learned how to decode different symbols.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not take it if you aren't ready to put in a lot of study hours. You always need to be constantly working on this subject and constantly focused on what's next. There is a single time that you have free when taking this course
