Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Miss Helfrick was the best English teacher I've ever had. She was a huge help in my understanding of the material and supported every student, regardless of their ability level.

    Course highlights:

This class taught me a lot about why something is written the way it is, at more of a structural level than content. My writing improved also.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Be open to learning about the structure of writing, even if it may seem stupid or insignificant.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is very rigorous. You have to be constantly learning new words to better your essay scores. You should always be testing new strategies. Overall this course tests you quick thinking giving you around 45 minutes to write one, five-paragraph essay that you have to score a 5 or higher on. This class prepares you a lot of AP literature which is the next class you can take.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to expand my vocabulary. I also learned how to right with a longer and more literary correct sentences. This course prepares you more for tests and quizzes then anything.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say that you should learned words that mean the same thing that sound more proper. You shouldn't use words like "happy" or "sad". I believe that you should also put lots of study time in for any tests you might have coming up.
