    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It has been several years since I took this course. I had a professor who allowed freedom in math. He would show one way of finding a solution and didn't expect you to follow it. He said there were a 1000 ways to do a math problem, if you understand how you did it and got the correct answer, then it was the right way. I never forgot that advice and pass it on to those who I tutor now.

    Course highlights:

Finding my own way through Algebra and enjoying the freedom of my own way.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Ask for help if you can't understand the problem.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

He just made the class so that it was fun and was easily understood. He also made it so that you didn't have to buy a book, which was great and saved a few bucks. He is just an amazing professor.

    Course highlights:

I learned some algebra stuff I didn't know before. Like how to F.O.I.L. The highlight was not needing to buy a book. It was awesome.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Just make sure to set aside the time you are going to need to study. Even though in this course homework he gave was not due. I still did it to make sure I knew what was going on in the class and to stay on top of my grade.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The teacher is very nice and available to students outside of class, but the pace of the course was very fast and it was easy to fall behind and not have a grasp on a unit before moving on to the next one.

    Course highlights:

Extra credit opportunities were always available. I learned a wide variety of things from writing equations to graphing data. Most of the algebra we did you have probably done before, but it was a nice review.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice is take all extra credit opportunities as they can strongly improve your grade. In addition, visit the teacher in her office for extra help as you might need it with how fast the pace is.
