Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class covers the revision of English grammar and several different forms of writing. The students write several essays and assignments that revise correct grammar.

    Course highlights:

I enjoy writing the essays as they are descriptive and have elements of creative writing. The revision of the grammar is very helpful as many people do not understand proper grammar.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are a writer who focuses more on logic and concrete ideas, if you are better at those kinds of essays, than you may not fair well in this course. These kinds of essays are more open thought and emotions.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because the teacher helps you learn how to write essays as a college student. Yes, other teachers help as well, but Ms. Thorton actually cares and will take the time to correct EVERY mistake in your essay.

    Course highlights:

From this course, I have learned how to write as a better writer than I was before this class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I advise you to actually write everything to the best of your possibility and not to slack off in the class to actually get something from it.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the teacher is great and she helps in understanding the right way to write in college. Taking Ms. Thorntons class is a hard class but I will use what she taught me in my writing all through my college years.

    Course highlights:

In this course we learned the proper way to write a variety of papers and how to properly site our sources. This included persuasive papers, compare and contrast, critical analysis and many others. We also learned proper grammar, which I was not to great at and it has benefited me tremendously. The class is a lot of work but the benefits that come from it are worth it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would give students the advice to make an effort in this class. It gives you college credit and you can learn a lot from being in it. You learn tools that can be used in all papers that you will write in the future, so give it your all and try to really absorb the information.
