Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this excellent course because you learn a lot more than vocabulary words and poetry terms. You also learn about different cultures and some history behind them.

    Course highlights:

Through this course, I learned about the Latina culture through reading and discussion of the book The Chronicles Of the Death Foretold. From this book, I also learned about the standards that were being held based on gender and how in some society they are still applied to girls and boys.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Do not procrastinate on assignments.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Baumann was an amazing teacher who prepared me for the rest of my high school experience and is one of the reasons for my success.

    Course highlights:

I learn not only about English but also many lessons about life. My highlighting was standing on the desks while watching Dead Poets Society

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be aware the work but the work will lead to much success.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I love English in general, but my teacher was the best English teacher I've ever had, I was inspired by him every day, he made me want to succeed.

    Course highlights:

The course focused mostly on poetry and delving in deeper to works of literature and their meaning. I learned how to break the surface in reading and see behind the metaphors and double entendre's. There is also a lot of memorizing involved.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely to write everything down, take notes, and do not procrastinate! I sometimes waited until the night before to write an essay and it only made things harder on myself.
