Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Eaton-Merkle is such a great teacher! She's funny and teaches her classes with diligence and is always willing to help anybody that needs her.

    Course highlights:

I learnt to be more open-minded, to search for new horizons when everything else might appear closed, to search my happiness, and to never procrastinate

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take it! Although it is a required course, you'll learn so much! There are plenty to learn from the books we read in that class. It's just amazing.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The teacher is amazing and really wants you to succeed. However, with that, she won't let you get away with nothing. The tests are really hard and require a lot of effort, but if you take the time to go over the material she gives you and ask questions and maybe even do a little research of your own you will be grateful and the lessons you learn will go far past this class. I have used many of the books and stories we learned in this literature class in other classes and discussions. Also, the atmosphere is incredibly relaxed and if you don't want to do the work no one will get after you but you will fail the tests.

    Course highlights:

We were able to choose a book and do an entire presentation that went really in depth into the book we chose. There was more to it than just characters and summaries. We had to learn about the themes, symbolism, genre, setting, literary elements, etc.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

As easy as it is to just sit and talk with friends all class or use sparknotes for every assignment, don't. You will be so tempted to cheat through this class, but if you really put in the effort your grade will thank you for it and you will actually enjoy the teacher and class more.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Great teacher, and you will learn a lot about history, and different stories. Learning new typing ways.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about genocides, not only the holocaust but also other genocides happening around the world.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Turn everything in. It's an easy class and easy grade if you turn in all your work.
