Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a great course that really expands off of College Composition I about how to write professional research papers. It is normally a requirement at most 4 year institutions as well, and this class transfers to every school I've asked, including some out-of-state private universities.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about observing both myself and others to find a pattern or repeating trend. I also learned how to take my thoughts and arguments and effectively shape them into a professional body of work.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you're going to take this course DEFINITELY take it with Professor Steve Edgehouse. He is super helpful, and always is willing to review your work before you turn it in to help you get the highest grade possible.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend English 231 to everyone because it is an interesting course and the course is based on topic specified by the instructor. Each semester is a different question. for example last semester was money and this semester is food.

    Course highlights:

the highlight of the course for me was when I proposed a couple questions pertaining to English and the instructor had an assignment for us to do that required us to researh the answers to our questions and write a paper based on those answers.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Some advice I would give students considering this course it to focus your paper topics on something that interest you or something that you want to learn more about. Also to take time on your papers and make sure you find some credible resources.
