Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor is extremely helpful and very considerate. She explains the topics carefully and thoroughly and I didn't find it as a surprise when mostly everyone I asked received an A or a B in this class. I would retake this class just to see her again.

    Course highlights:

Budgets and variances were my favorite topics. Although it took longer to grasp in my case because there were more chapters dedicated to them I eventually got it and I kind of enjoy doing it now.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Take it if you want a class where you fully understand what's being taught and you won't be afraid to ask for help or questions.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Accounting is not only a vital trait to the financial well-being of a company, but also a practical skill to something as: balancing a checkbook. Yes, it was quite a challenging, but also incredibly fascinating and rewarding.

    Course highlights:

It taught me how accounting isn't just knowing that 'X-amount' of dollars, less 'Y-amount' of dollars, equals what you should have. It's about knowing: where, when, why, and how much money is moved and for what purpose. It also teaches you how to keep an organized run-down of current financial assets and any other liabilities a corporation should have. In addition, it will teach you how a public ally traded company runs its finances through dividends, loans, and liquid assets.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study study study. It's a terrific experience but you get out of it, what you put in.
