Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was very informative. Even if you have no interest in international relations, this class can expand your knowledge of what is happening around the world. This course was very interesting and very much relates to everyday life.

    Course highlights:

I learned the purpose of global organizations like the UN and how countries interact with each other. A highlight of the course was simulations that we conducted in class that showed the connections between two separate governments and how these interactions are affected by national interest. These were a hands-on way of explaining how world governments interact with each other to solve problems.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep an open mind when it comes to this class. It is a bit challenging, but with some effort, it is a pretty easy class. Make sure that if you are planning to take this class that you read the textbook. We refer back to it quite often and discuss the topics in the book. I would also add that writing is an important portion of this course, and this instructor, in particular, has a specific way he would like the papers to be written. I would suggest asking a lot of questions and even submitting a paper early so he can give you feedback before he submits the final grade.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It is very interesting, and it puts the world into perspective!

    Course highlights:

The class debates and discussions. We learned that not everything in the world is a simple fix and that difference in opinion can cause difficulty but can also offer fresh perspective.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Apply yourself! You will get out what you put in.
