    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is difficult but manageable, and you learn extremely valuable essay writing and grammar skills. The course as taught by Dr. Rakic is much, much more difficult than it is as taught by Mrs. Walls, but you'll learn so much more that it's definitely worth it.

    Course highlights:

You'll learn how to write essays at a college level (as told by the teacher and my sibling, who is in college and uses the same outline and level of expectations.) You'll also learn all about grammar in a way that is actually effective, unlike every other teacher's method I've ever encountered. His teaching methods stick with students.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed, you can't turn things in late. Ever. Know the material, and if you miss a day look up the chapter on SparkNotes or get the paper or whatever. Also, there's no need to be afraid of Dr. Rakic, or intimidated or anything.
