    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because this class was one of the most challenging courses I have taken in my whole high school career, but I enjoyed the community of students in this class and I had a healthy amount of freedom of how I wanted to do my project which allowed me to learn more about myself as a student.

    Course highlights:

I learned my boundaries as a student, and I also got the opportunity to learn a ton more about one of my favorite things: Musical Theatre. The biggest highlight of the course was the ability to work with a mentor because I grew as a singer with my mentor, who was a college professor.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay organized and don't slack off at all because it is a tough class. Also, don't compare your project to anyone else's all projects are different and require different amount of work. Lastly don't stress if you aren't stressing.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend this course for many reasons. You are able to choose a topic that you find interesting and spend a semester learning about. This class also makes you a better writer and public speaker.

    Course highlights:

I did my project on Controversies of Abortion and it was so informative. I learned to try to put bias aside and focus on what others believe and think. I also learned how to write better and how to manage my time.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

It is a very difficult class if you make it difficult. Stay on top of deadlines and be prepared. This is not a walk in the park and you will not succeed if you think so. Be ready to have a lot of work all the time and be ready to have your papers criticized.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course gives the opportunity to study something outside of the regular classroom, an opportunity that has caused my knowledge and study habits to grow greatly.

    Course highlights:

I learned early on not to procrastinate which was something that I carried with me into the rest of my classes.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay up on the work and communicate well with the teacher and the mentor that you choose for your project.
