Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
The class is very helpful, it teaches a lot of information. However, the one downfall is keeping up with Mr. Samano's comparisons of ordinary items to math concepts. I wish I would have known to read the book in addition to taking notes in class.
Course highlights:
I learned about the unit circle and how to use the unit circle in real life problems
Hours per week:
3-5 hours
Advice for students:
Read the book, take notes, pay attention to example problems
Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
The class is essential for furthering your knowledge of math. It has information you need to continue into higher levels of math.
Course highlights:
You go through more complex algebra. More specifically you are going to be working more with quadratic equations and factoring.
Hours per week:
6-8 hours
Advice for students:
You need to make sure that you do the homework for this course. This was one of the first math classes I took where I really needed to study to understand the concepts. The class will be very hard for you if you end up slacking on homework. In math, in order to get good, you have to practice the concepts a lot. The teacher doesn't give you a lot of time to do homework in class as well. The majority of the class is spent learning concepts or going over any problems that you had with the previous days homework. The teacher is also fairly understanding. So, if you have something that you need help with, he is more than happy to help you if you request time.
This class was tough.

Advice for students:
STUDY, STUDY, STUDY, it is vital that you study.
