    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

You learn real world situations in this class. For example, I have learned different types of pollution, energy uses, and world populations while taking this class.

    Course highlights:

I have learned about all types of pollution, energy, world population, mutations, climate, and so much more. The highlights are all of the projects we have done to better know the information and topic at hand. The projects are fun and really pull you into the course and information.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take time on taking quality notes. Really pay attention to the lectures and go in for help, whether you go in to see your teacher or you create a study group with friends.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Because there is a lot of work, but most of it is pretty easy, there are also lots of fun field trips that allow hands on experience. Though, after most there is lots of paper work you have to do. You learn though quite a lot about the environment, sustainability and more.

    Course highlights:

Spring brook Prairie trip, learned about how scientists study healthiness of certain biomes through species with low pollution tolerances or keystone species. Tree Haven, overnight trip, heard it's fun but didn't go because I had lots of AP stat homework to do.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you are interested in environmental science before you sign up, because if not, you may find this class a bit boring for a couple weeks as it's not exciting stuff such as soil sampling. If you do know a lot, then you don't have to do the reading as on the reading quizzes I got like 90s without reading
