Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class is a lot of work, but if you're interested in Psychology and will need to take it later, Mrs. Tilt is a good teacher and the material is very interesting. Overall, second semester is more interesting to me, especially the abnormal psych unit. First semester seems to be more basic things but overall it's a useful and helpful course.

    Course highlights:

Abnormal psych, case studies, watching Sybil (a movie), videos to accompany the lesson which put the slides into different words. Sleep and motivation were also good units. I learned a lot about the brain and the way we think

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study! Do the notecards, and make sure you have all of the terms down that she gives you on the sheet. The tests are relatively difficult too, so make sure you can answer application questions. For the second semester final project (second semester only, there's a test first semester), make sure to start it early and get it done!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because it is an insider's look at what goes on in the brain. Psychology can be used in any field of work and helps people understand how some trauma or other experience may influence a person's life from then on.

    Course highlights:

In this course, you get to learn about the body itself, mostly the brain and the functions of the brain. It is very important to be able to understand what the brain does in the body to be able to understand the rest of the course. In this course, you get to learn about emotions, personality, childhood development, sensations, and cognition.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in AP Psychology it is important that you do EVERYTHING that is assigned in the class and then do extra as well. It is also important to have a relationship with the teacher so you feel comfortable asking questions since there will most likely be many questions needed to ask.
