    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The class covered necessary topics and wasn't too strict with essays. However, while the due dates were set, they were extremely lenient and the syllabus wasn't always followed which caused some confusion.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to write a valid, convincing essay. This knowledge has helped with almost all of my other courses, as writing an essay is usually apart of each one at some point.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Use the textbook. Every essay relates to the reading selections in the book. Finding the common theme of the essays in each section will help to write a convincing essay of their topic.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it is very informational. The teacher is very understanding and kind and she made learning interesting. The class size was not too big and it was not hard sharing information with the class for this reason.

    Course highlights:

I learned about writing and synthesizing summaries.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Get your work turned in on time and participate in class.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class was a great general education class to get you started on your way into the college class journey. Almost every major in college requires a composition one class as a prerequisite before advancing to your major classes. It was tough but if you put in the hours then you will do well.

    Course highlights:

This class also helps you make the transformation from writing high school level papers to writing college level expected papers for all your other classes. I also learned that putting in the work does pay off. You can't just slide by on an hour a week of work in a college class so this was a good lesson.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say that taking notes, even on little things pays off. Also rereading your papers before submitting them to your professor isn't a bad idea. A last tip would be to utilize your resources. It is okay to use your books and ask your teacher questions, you can also ask your peers to review your work to get a second opinion on it.
