    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Newman is an amazing professor, she breaks down the lessons and explains each one thoroughly. She explains in detail and is very easy to contact about concerns on lectures or assignments.

    Course highlights:

I learned more about different types of essays and their structures.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be open to her comments on your essays, they are very helpful, especially for the last essay.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Don't go into this course thinking you will be able to breeze through it. For an A+ English student, this course was unnecessarily difficult! Work was not given back and ALL grades were not posted until course was completed.

    Course highlights:

The service learning program associated with this course was fun; also was the end of the year class group book project.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Have MANY professors review EVERY paper you have to do for this course.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I'd recommend it because despite the rigorousness of the course it was still fun overall to participate and learn in.

    Course highlights:

The main highlights of the course were the readings we did as a whole class. In this way we were able to study together and more freely understand the text by going over right then what we thought was happening in the story.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Even when there isn't a reading quiz for the provided reading it is still in your best interest to read what was assigned to you.
