Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would really recommend this class to everyone who has an interest in the body because you honestly learn way more than just meanings to words.

    Course highlights:

I learned the anatomy of the body, various diseases, medical equipment, countless definitions of words, etc. The really cool part about it is that I can understand medical language so I always know what doctors are talking about now!

    Hours per week:

    Advice for students:

study, study, study! flash cards are a big help and actually reading each chapter and doing the work will definitely allow you to understand the work. Repetition is always a good thing.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Great Class!!! Learned a lot of information pertaining to the medical field. Especially the meaning of many different medical terms. This is really important when you get a job in the medical field and need to know what all those big words mean.

    Course highlights:

Some highlights to this course was that there wasn't a heavy homework load. I also enjoyed having more frequent quizzes that were shorter than longer ones that covered more information. I think I was able to learn more this way. The course wasn't too fast paced either, which was nice.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise students to stay caught up on the homework assignments and always study all the terms. You will see them all at one point or another. If you fall behind it can be hard to catch up and not fail the course.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is the most rewarding yet challenging course to be enrolled in. I am honored to be educated in medical terminology now than what I knew prior to my knowledge before beginning the course. I could relate some basic terms but the curriculum based in this course covered all the basic and advanced statistic facts. In this course you will memorize medical terms and vocabulary in English/Latin prefixes and suffixes and gain the potential to understand the language of medicine. This course will prepare you for the Medical field and educate you on each medical diagnosis and its treatments. Understanding medical terms is extremely crucial in applying for a career in the medical field.

    Course highlights:

The main highlights of this course is based on prefixes, suffixes, root words and combining forms of the medical field. I learned that each term contains a combination of three or more terms beginning with a prefix, containing a combining form or root word and ending with a suffix. Each word part has an essential meaning to the term itself and how it can be used in the medical field.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice to students looking to take this course is to spend quality time in studying each medical term and familiarizing, breaking down each word part for each prefix, combining form or root word and suffix. Each word part has a essential valuable meaning to the human body, anatomy and how it pertains to the medical practices. This course is valuable to the medical field and its practices to gain a better perspective and knowledge on the medical career path that you have chosen.
