    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

AWESOME class. This is a MUST take class. If you are looking to learn more about the government or have to take a government credit prior to graduation because of requirements, then this is the class you must take. The teacher is so nice and you can tell she loves the subject.

    Course highlights:

The highlights, thought this sounds weird, were the tests. When I usually take college tests, I panic because they are often times difficult and unfair, but with this class everything on the test is something that you learned in class. She also gives a study guide which helps so much. We also have movie days that are not only fun, but educational.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely show up to every class. You probably will only have this class about once or twice a week, so it should not be too difficult to show up and engage in learning.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The nature of the class was completely unexpected to me. We did not simply re-hash the old lessons about the checks and balance system of the three branches of American Government. Instead, every day we discussed real life examples and applications of the laws. The professor had in-depth knowledge of the judicial system from her years as a lawyer researching the legal side of court cases. The atmosphere was also open and friendly, and student input was encouraged far more than it had been in any of my previous classes.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the processes policemen go through in an investigation and the modern applications of the Bill of Rights. I learned about America's foreign relations, the responsibilities and powers of the president, and many aspects of the legal system. Every topic was fascinating, not only because of the frankness and humor with which the lectures were delivered, but because the focus was on how we could use the knowledge and apply it to our lives as citizens of America.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Bring paper, pens, and a good pair of ears. You are going to want to hold onto the information you learn in this class because it really is useful.
