Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this class, especially if you are going to continue on to calculus. I learned many useful things in this class and Mr. Tarwater was really great. He was willing to stay after school to help his students if they needed it.

    Course highlights:

This class focused a lot on trigonometry which is a very important skill to have in calculus. I also learned how to study for a math class while taking this course. I have never had to study for math before, but this class was hard enough that I had to.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

For this class if you really apply yourself and study, then you will succeed. If you need help make sure to ask the teacher or even other students for help. If you are confused don't try to work it out alone, ask for help. This is a class that if you fall behind it is hard to get caught up.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course introduced me to Calculus and helped me find my passion for mathematics even so that I want mathematics to be my future major, and I want to pursue a profession in the mathematics field.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course are being able to understand math better as a whole, and learning many things like how to work with radians and trigonometric functions. This course led me to be successful till this day in my Calculus courses. I usually tell myself "this derives from something I learned in pre-calculus ".

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't procrastinate or get behind, because you only get to fully understand when you are at the right place at the right time. Always do your homework and ask for help when you need it! When the teacher tells you to memorize something, memorize it.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class taught me a lot and will really help me in my course of study. If you are planning on majoring in anything having to do with math then this class is almost a necessity for you.

    Course highlights:

I gained a lot of knowledge that I now use in my calculus class. I really enjoyed learning about limits and currently that is all we talk about in calculus so my advice is to pay attention.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You will need to study during this course, most of this math will not come easy and it does require some thought but don't let that stop you, it's worth it!
