Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The tests are moderately easy to complete if you take adequate notes over the chapter, I would always look up his power points and take notes at home, leaving class time to complete book work.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were comparing what we learning about our government with the real world events that were happening at the same time.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say to take AP if you are trying to choose between AP and normal, you might as well get college credit for an easy course.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Collins is passionate about the class and is very interactive with the class. It's a test based class, but notes are fun and won't put you to sleep.

    Course highlights:

I learned about this country's history and a lot about the election. I was lucky to be in government during the presidential election, so I learned a lot about the process and the electoral college.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the textbook and always do extra credit opportunities. It's a pretty difficult class, but it will prepare you for college class atmospheres.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I believe that the large workload in this course will help students know what to expect in college. I would recommend this for seniors since seniors are about to become adults in the real world and as such will need to know a thing or two about the government to enact change.

    Course highlights:

I gained an understanding of the American government to become a better informed citizen. I learned about the reasoning behind the electoral college system, which is very important to know about before one can try to change it, and I learned about the struggle in America to have freedom, order, and equality and how one sometimes hurts the other.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise the students to be prepared to work. I would suggest for them to actually read the book and to take note in class. Also, be aware of the information that the teacher points out is important and is on the test.
