Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because I feel having knowledge on history is extremely important. Not only history in general, but especially the history of one's own country. I am someone who enjoys history and loved learning about our own country's origins. Not only did I love the subject, but my teacher was amazing. Mrs. Montague allowed me to explore history in all new ways and she helped me achieve a 5 on the AP exam.

    Course highlights:

In my opinion, the highlights of this course was the war history, World War II in particular. I learned something new in every topic we covered, such as the underground tunnel which the Viet Cong used in Vietnam during the Vietnam War. Another topic which I enjoyed was the "Roaring 20's." During this topic, I learned of the new culture and rebellious attitudes of citizens throughout America, such as speakeasies and flappers.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Since this is an AP course, studying is a necessity. Also, it is important not to blow off the homework since the homework is completely relevant to tests and ultimately, the AP exam. The tests are challenging and almost impossible if you do not put a little bit of time every night into the course. However, everything in this class is completely achievable through studying and assigned homework.

I was pushed to the limits but since I was pushed, I am more confident that I passed the APUSH exam

    Course highlights:

I learn to become hard working in this course because of the amount of work. Highlights of this course was the exceptional time everyone had together and the satisfaction of receiving a grade you worked for.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you take this course, start studying early instead of 1 month before the exam. Buy a prep book and read over it multiple times to have the best advantages of studying
