Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The learning environment is interactive and it caters to all learning styles. Also, the lessons are engaging and very interesting.

    Course highlights:

The different learning methods that would be incorporated in each lesson. They were very diverse and made the class exciting.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The work is somewhat tedious, but most of the information is covered in class. If you pay attention in class, then you will do great on the tests. Especially if you are an auditory learner.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Being that im a politically inclined person with a great interest in government and western democratic institutions i took to the class with great enthusiasm. We learned the roots of the enlightenment and democracy, starting with thinkers like John Locke, Hobbs, and Montesquieu. We learned how the principle of separation of powers has kept out government stable and limited. We learned the 3 branches of government and the highlights of their years running America. Most of all the course spawned inspiration in many of US. We have taken up offers to attend a trip to Washington DC to meet our elected officials and get a taste of pubic service.

    Course highlights:

Because the course took place during an election year that discussions, debates, and predictions we made up until the 8th of November were very spirited and enjoyable. The election allowed us to delve into the electoral process much deeper and discover how ordinary people can make great change if they are armed with passion and a dream. This realization after years of cynicism was the best highlight i could ask for.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Bring your supplies to school every day and make sure to be organized and quick working. Always remember to ask questions on material you are not sure about. The material is not ultra difficult but you must be able to memorize lots of terms and facts. Overall it is a fun class with an intellectually stimulating atmosphere but not for those afraid of a challenge.
