    Pretty easy, overall.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The information taught in Marine Sci is interesting and unique to the course. The class itself is engaging and fun, and the pacing is just right -- not too fast or too slow.

    Course highlights:

I gained a greater appreciation for Earth's oceans and marine life. There's a good blend of environmentalism, biology, geography, and even geology and physics. The best part is that nearly all of it is useful in everyday life -- timing the tides, knowing what an estuary is, knowing the importance of algae and phytoplankton -- and if it's not useful, it's extremely interesting. Box jellyfish have 24 eyes. TWENTY-FOUR EYES. That's crazy.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just listen. Take notes when he lectures, which isn't often. Finish the worksheets. Know the vocabulary. If you put in the work during class time, there's almost no homework for the whole year. For the quarterly papers, Google Scholar is your best friend.
