    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I really loved this class, and it was mainly because of my great teacher. She understood that most of her students were going through rough times in their life, but she kept us going with her enthusiasm. I loved all the books that she recommended to me, and the ones that were required during the school year.

    Course highlights:

I loved all the book projects we did. We had one per 6 weeks, and they would be different every time. I also sometimes even liked to write essays because they were over interesting topics.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Learn to love to read!! (and write). This course isn't majorly hard, but finding things to research about I say would be the hardest part about this subject.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was a requirement, so you have to take it, but I also really enjoyed the class. It is a lot of reading, but you get to choose the book, or at least from a list of books.

    Course highlights:

The class focusses on analysis of the chosen novels: the plot, characters, etc., not so much on the structural elements of the books however. (I guess they save all the syntax, diction, and rhetorics for AP English III.)

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I'm a slow reader, so I had trouble finishing the books in time; however, I encourage that you do, in fact, finish the books. If you can only do so by skimming through it, use Shmoop and Sparknotes to give you reminders of some key things you may have read over too quickly.
