    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

While many people consider this a frighteningly difficult class, it is actually enjoyable and eye-opening! Mr. Comiskey is an amazing teacher, and he offers so many learning opportunities and tutoring hours. He ensures that his students are well taken care of. Furthermore, this class teaches truly valuable lessons that will be useful in life after high school. After taking this class, I feel smarter and more prepared to take on college and the future, and I was fortunate enough to earn college credit through the AP exam.

    Course highlights:

Mr. Comiskey made every class interesting, even when we were discussing the most simple things. I learned all about how banks create money, what our national economy currently looks like, and how to cause or fix inflation or recessions. Everything in the economy is intertwined in a complex web of charts and graphs, and it was cool to learn to understand that.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

While it is not vital to read the textbook before every class, it is very important to at least read it before the tests. Furthermore, go to the review sessions Mr. Comiskey has the weekends before the tests, because they are extremely helpful. Other than that, just make sure you stay on top of things and ask questions when you get confused.
