    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course if you want to become a math major or if you want a head start to college elective classes. I wouldn't recommend this class if you struggle in math.

    Course highlights:

I learned some rare methods of math like the shapley shubik method. I did learn some useful methods like the cheapest link , which is using math to figure out routes to different states or routes.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention and if you need help stay after with your teacher so you can stay ahead of the game. Don't be lackadaisical with this course because you will be confused and your grade will go down dramatically. The pro with this course is there is no final.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Unlike most math courses, this class actually covers things that are seen in everyday life and can be very useful. However, I thought it was a difficult class, mainly because a lot of the formulas used are very similar and it was difficult to keep them all in order. Also, because it's all word problems, it can get very confusing.

    Course highlights:

Z-scores are used throughout the entire course, so it's important to understand how to read the chart. You also need to be able to identify a population from a sample and different types of samples and sampling biases. Knowing vocabulary is also important.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Know your formulas and which situations they are used for, as they are EXTREMELY similar to each other. Ask questions if you are confused because everything is used throughout the course, so misunderstanding one thing can lead to misunderstanding a lot of other things.
