    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course was fairly interesting at some points such as the demographic transition which shows up in more than just human geography, yet it may be hard for students to tack on the importance of what they are learning. Until they get into other history courses they may not know how important the material may be and thus it is more like a introductory class.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the demographic transition and stages of development for countries. I also learned that there are nice teachers that grade hard, and so watch out for mr Brannan, because although he makes jokes often he is very stern on grades.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to always do the reading or at least look over the chapter. The text book is extremely important and make sure to take any extra credit opportunity he gives because he doesn't hand them out freely. Also you must learn 300 vocab words for the ap test. Good luck!

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because it is not a difficult AP course, although the daily chapter readings prepare you for future AP level courses.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the population, how birth rates and death rates differ throughout the world.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Vocabulary is key to passing the AP exam. Study the vocabulary frequently so it is not overwhelming a month before the exam.

    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it includes so many aspects that you may not have thought of. It includes geography, human nature, politics, conflicts between countries, people, and so much more.

    Course highlights:

From this course you gain knowledge of location, population, migration, languages, ethnicities, political geography, development, agriculture, industry, settlements, and urban patterns. I would say that the main thing you learn about though is political geography, conflicts, and parts of culture.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you really read and follow the text book you will be fine. It is mostly memorizing information. Using study sites can help but if you do the work that is required you can pass. In order to pass the final it is helpful to get Baron's study guide and do a couple of problems a day leading up to the final. Also practice doing free response questions and make them very detailed.
