Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I honestly did not expect to enjoy this class as much as I do, but in this class I've started to find government to be an interesting subject. I feel like I've learned so much, Mr. Stohr gives out the most extensive study guides and they really help!

    Course highlights:

It's helped me see the complexity in our government system and helped me develop my own political opinions.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be very organized with your notes and take lots of them!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. West is a great teacher. I really enjoyed taking his class during the 2016 Presidential Election. He was helpful to the Seniors with advice about getting ready for college.

    Course highlights:

We studied about the US Constitution and main institutions that make up our government. We also had discussions about political parties and beliefs, civil liberties and current events.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take it! You will really learn a lot about our government and politics. Mr. West is a very inspirational teacher. He makes us think and have great discussions.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course is about our society and how the inner core of our government works, which i say is very important. Many people today have no idea about how exactly the government works or some of the bases and functions of congress.

    Course highlights:

The highlights in this course are the great discussions we have about history. Not only does my teacher make them interesting but he always makes sure to add some humor into the class to keep everyone engaged. We surprisingly learned a lot about debt, checks, loans and credit which in the long run will always be helpful for life.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Any student who decides to participate in this course should always come in with an open mind. we talk a lot about current events and past events that can sometimes be a little debatable.
