    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I wholeheartedly recommend this course to anybody who is pursuing a career in the medical field. It is a great opportunity that not a lot of teenagers are able to get. It allows students to pursue a career as a licensed practical nurse. It only takes two years to complete and the teachers fully prepare you for everything you need to know to succeed as a nurse.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was being able to learn hands on. We read and take quizzes like in usual courses, but we also get to use our knowledge in clinical settings. We practice our skills in the skills lab and then go to clinical sites like rehabilitation centers and pediatric care units.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

You really need to know how to manage your time and never think you don't need to study. Study every day and never underestimate the power of a good nights sleep. You are going to be needing sleep. Or just drink a lot of coffee.
