    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

AP Economics with Mr. Atkins was a rigorous course with a lot of assignments and tests/quizzes. However, I highly recommend this course, as it prepares you for any Economics course you will ever take in college. The curriculum is hard and takes practice at first, but once you master the economic way of thinking, you're golden!

    Course highlights:

I gained an understanding of the three major firms: perfect competition, monopoly, and oligopoly. These are the main focal points of the course but they encompass a wide mass of information. Be ready for a lot of information that builds up; you can't forget stuff you learned during the first week of class!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always make sure to complete the packet pages and be prepared for discussion. Mr. Atkins does not check the packet for completion, but if you don't do the assignment yourself then you don't know what you don't know!!

Ask plenty of questions to Mr. Atkins, especially if you feel lost.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is a great course and if you pass the AICE exam you will receive 8 college credit. Atkins knows what he is talking about and will help you if you need it.

    Course highlights:

The course overall is good for someone that is planning to take up a career involving economics. It goes more in depth then regular or AP econ.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study the material when you can because you do not want to cram for the night before the test. he rarely gives homework, so when he does DO IT!
