    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I took this as a dual enrollment student and it was absolutely amazing. The professor has a unique way of teaching so the class is not boring at all. It really does teach you what you need to know for college essays and makes sure you utilize resources around campus by requiring you to go to the writing lab. It's not as hard as I thought although it still is a good amount of work. But especially for a high school student, this class is great.

    Course highlights:

I learned more in depth about thesis statements and outlines, which are fundamental to a good essay. I learned a bunch of small things about my own writing that is helping me improve. The topics we wrote about were interesting and helpful too; the writing process, civic engagement, and cognitive distortions.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Look up your professors first because they definitely have a big influence on the quality of the class. Also, try not to wait last minute to finish things because the essays are long and the packets require a lot.
