It is very helpful for entrance exams to medical and dental school.

    Course highlights:

Literally the most boring class, but very useful.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class, take notes, and study.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I enjoy the topic of genetics, so for that reason I would suggest it to science majors. I would not recommend this course to people who wouldn't enjoy genetics because: -the class switches professors halfway through the semester -the class is not engaging -the tests are difficult

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of this class was when we went in depth and studied the microscopic processes that affect inheritance. I like learning how things happen on a cellular level and how the tiniest little changes can make something so drastically different.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the chapters given, especially in the second half of the semester with Dr. Pintes. Dr. Evans gives exact sections to read, but Dr. Pintes only gives chapters so you need to read the whole thing to make sure you get the information you need. Memorize the material as you go because there is a lot of detail to remember for tests.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Evans is a great professor and as long as you got to class you will do fine in the class.

    Course highlights:

We learned about basic genetic terms and pedigrees from Dr. Evans.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not let people tell you it is hard because it is completely do able.
