    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend this course for first year college students as the information provided is very controversial and I feel that it requires a more experienced thinker.

    Course highlights:

I learned that everything and everyone could be of no existence.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you want to succeed, you will need to dedicate 3-5 hours outside of the class, per week to catch up on the required readings and to take notes for discussion sessions.

    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course if you like to learn about things that go on in the past in Greece as well as if you are interested in learning about how they spoke back then.

    Course highlights:

Learning about Socrates as well as Phaedo and Plato. I found these particularly interesting. For some reason the others did not interest me as much as these three did. The others were good though, definitely taught me a lot.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Take notes, read the assigned reading before the class time that is scheduled to go over the reading, make notes when you read it as well as when it is discussed in class.
