    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    I would highly recommend this course for many reasons. First of all, the teacher is great. She helps you learn to the best of your ability. If you plan on going into accounting as a major at your university, accounting principles is a must. It will help you learn the basics needed to complete higher level accounting courses.

    Course highlights:

    The highlights through the course were topics such as balance sheets, income statements, stockholders equity statements, bonds, interest rates, journal entries, the accounting equation, and many more. I learned how to balance all of the statements above, and learned how to successfully account for almost all aspects of a businesses accounting needs.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    To pass this course you must take extremely good notes, complete all of your homework on time and get good grades on them, and you must study several hours a week. You must read the chapters in the book as well.

    Course Overview:

    I think accounting 1 is an interesting class and my professor was very helpful. This was a course I enjoyed and would recommend to any business major or anyone who is interested in accounting. If you put the time and effort into studying then you will pass it.

    Course highlights:

    I gained general knowledge about the principles of accounting and this will help me with my future career as an accountant.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Study smart, make a game plan or a study schedule and stick to it. Look over class notes and do lots of practice!

    It is tough but I like accounting so I taught myself most everything

    Course highlights:

    You will learn more in your SI than you do in class

    Do the homework because it can save you in the end
