    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Professor Mortensen is an out standing teacher and provides many real work examples that help learn the application of sociology. If you go to class and take notes, studying for the test will be a breeze as well as the open note pop quizzes.

    Course highlights:

At the end of each lecture he had us get into small groups and think of examples relevant in our lives that applied to what we were learning. This opened my eyes and allowed me to see the world in many different perspectives.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

don't skip class and take notes, if you follow that it is an easy A.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is kind of difficult as the instructor goes out of the book often enough to confuse you. Although, it is a great class that requires a whole lot of studying and preparation.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course are the example videos that are shown during presentations. In this course I learned about provarty, social mobility, and much more.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

STUDY!! STUDY!! STUDY!!! This class does some pop quizzes so be ready it all adds up.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it just a very informational class. We learn a lot in this class and believe or not some of the information can be used out in the real world.

    Course highlights:

I would have to say our ELP project was my favorite. You basically learn that there are all these different social norms and how it affects everyday life.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read your textbook. That textbook has a lot of information and a lot of it is used on tests.
