Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course opened my eyes and spiked my interest to become a lawyer. Mrs. Petrone is a wonderful teacher who really works with her students and sets her time aside to help her students succeed.

    Course highlights:

I learned how the law system and court room work, as well as laws involved in the workforce. My favorite topic was Intellectual Property Law.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to continue to write your notes over and over, take the practice test multiple times, and go to office hours.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend every incoming freshman take BLAW because it is the first class the strays away from high school teaching and goes into exactly what college is about. The teachers do not hold your hand and the class is all lecture based. Taking notes is extremely important in this class for without them you will not pass.

    Course highlights:

I love learning about love and before entering the course I felt like I had a strong understanding of the laws of the U.S.A but I did not. This class taught me how to study properly and to read everything with great detail. I learned that almost anything is a contract and that partnerships can be formed very easily. However, the most important thing I learned in this class is to go to class and put a lot of effort in to your studies because if I did not do both of these things I do not know if I would have passed the class.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise students to study their notes every night and rewrite them so they can fully grasp the material. I also would encourage students to read the material closely because of the difference between getting a question right and wrong in most cases was one word.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The class was very difficult! Make sure to pay attention and study. I had to get tudors. This class does not take attendance.

    Course highlights:

Very interesting! Learned a lot about law! Make sure to go to review sessions.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Print out the slides when you go to class and take notes off of that! then go back and highlight and rewrite the definitions and concepts.
