    | Would not recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Over-abundance of busy work, minimal help with basic understanding.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to write tons of essays without any help from a horrible professor, thanks to countless hours of research on strategies for writing.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready for a lot of essays, and make sure you are well prepared on logical fallacies and critique essays.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

In this class, you study more than just the principles of English. You look into important political and social matters while applying grammatical and structural matters to further your knowledge of English.

    Course highlights:

I have learned that not all English classes are just about forcing you into writing in a specific manner. Writing is an open minded action that you can make a product of your very own.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to read the book and apply your own personal opinion in your essays!

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I wouldn't recommend taking this class due to the professors teaching. She was quite rude and very judgemental. Also quite the one to favorite her students. If you'd like to pass with flying colors do not take her course. Find another professor.

    Course highlights:

I learned to write more eloquently

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be very interested in African American English history. It's her actual degree
