    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is an intensive studio foundations core class that basically gives you a crash-course through the core art classes - drawing, creative thinking, painting, and sculpture. It is a lot of work, but it is so much fun and you improve by leaps and bounds throughout the semester! I really enjoyed my time in this class.

    Course highlights:

I learned basic observation and visualization techniques, ideation techniques, craftsmanship techniques, and painting methods that I know will be extremely valuable to me throughout my time in the art department in college.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Time. Management. Show up to class on time. Complete assignments on time and follow the parameters - they are there to help guide you, not restrict you negatively! Be kind to your classmates - you will be spending 18+ hours a week with them.
