    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because it teaches you different logic skills that require yourself to identify a problem and work through it. Also, it was very rewarding, especially when your programs would work as plan.

    Course highlights:

The highlights would have to be the projects that were needed to be created. As it was the majority of your grade but it was also essential for learning how to code for a specific reason(s).

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared for the tests more than anything. Very strange wording and misleading questions. I would recommend you to also keep up with the projects. NEVER PROCRASTINATE!

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I learned the basics of C++. I didn't attend lecture but the slides were all posted online and followed the book.

    Course highlights:

I actually really enjoyed this class. The programming projects were fun and increasing in difficultly. You usually had about a week for each project but I typically just laid on the couch working it out for 12 hours straight the day before and it was pretty painless.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

There were seven projects in total and I never needed to go to office hours until the last project. Be warned: everyone needed office hours help on the last project so there were about 50 students with laptops sprawled all over the room trying to get help from one TA. Get help early.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would take this course pretty much only if you are into computer science because it is fairly boring

    Course highlights:

This course pretty much only teaches you the basics of programming

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Just do your programs on time and you will be fine Dr.Li is very helpful if you are stuck and go to him he will help.
