Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

You may have heard that AP Lang is one of the hardest AP classes that you can take. Ms. Winslow, however, understood this and taught us everything we needed to know. Through engaging lessons (and lots of interesting readings!), we understood how to write effectively and understand even the hardest of passages. She may seem scary at first, but once you get to know her and understand her teaching style, you'll understand that she's one of the best teachers you'll ever have.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to write effectively, various rhetorical terms, and how to analyze various types of passages.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

All I can basically tell you is to write! Also, read the news and various books; during the AP exam, you'll need to apply outside knowledge. Do the readings that Ms. Winslow gives you, and make sure you do writing assignments a little bit in advance. She'll know if you did it in an hour the night before. Also, make sure to proofread your writing assignments multiple times.
