    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would really recommend it, because this course shows and teaches you basic concepts of writing and reading. This can not only help you with college applications, but it is also a great way to see what a college-level English course will be like. This course is a good preparation, I took a lot from it and it gives you college credit as an additional bonus!

    Course highlights:

The highlights were the creative essays I got to write and the discussions we had in that course. The topics are almost always vey interesting or even funny. You were able to bring in a lot of own thoughts and experiences. I overall took a lot from this course, it taught me how to establish an argument, how to analyze texts and extract the most important information, expand my vocabulary and it prepared me for courses the following year like for example AP Literature.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Just try to stay on top of things. Don't slack on projects and try to apply as much of the advice your teacher gave you on exam day. And most importantly, be creative! Especially writing your essays there is not always clear information given to you, you have to think some things through or even come up with your own facts so try not to close your mind off too much.
