    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class focuses on theories of crime and how they relate to real statistics and situations happening right now. This class was very fair in terms of grading. The professor is one of my favorites and makes the class a lot of fun.

    Course highlights:

We watched a lot of movies and clips from situations going on in the present. I learned a lot about the truth of crime and even some ways to prevent yourself from being a victim in situations like robberies. It was a very interesting class where you learn a lot of useful and fascinating information about crime and why people partake in it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you at least skim the readings for each week. There are clicker quizzes almost every class and they are very simple as long as you know what the reading is about in general. The midterm and final are also very fair. He gives you the questions before hand without the answer choices so you can make a study guide and you know what to expect. Don't rely too much on having the questions for the exams because the answer choices on the exam may be different than you expect.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Despite the large size, Professor Wright kept the entire class engaged and entertained throughout the class time. It never felt like we were learning, but instead it felt like the class was having a casual conversation.

    Course highlights:

I went into the class without any knowledge of criminology. Upon leaving the course, I've learned so much about crime and the criminal justice system. We also learned the best way to burglarize a home, which I thought was hilarious.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the chapters! You can try to wing it, but you won't do well on the quizzes without reading the chapters before class.
