    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it truly helps you learn the necessities of general Biology that will help a student out greatly in their successive studies. The lab is difficult, but if a student pays attention and does the work, then they will be able to understand it.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about the different systems of the human body which interested me greatly. I am going into the health system and therefore this was one of the most interesting parts of this course!

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

READ the textbook! Make sure to read every chapter that the professor talks about in class because he will not tell you guys everything that you would need to know at all. You need to read the text!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it is extremely interesting and students are able to apply their knowledge of the class to the outside world.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course involved doing a lab on GFP's, where we learned how fluorescence's are created inside bacteria when GFP was inserted into E. coli cells.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this class, students must be prepared to take many notes because the teacher gives lectures, and students must be able to take notes on the main points.
