Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you are interested in History , plan to major in a particular area that requires it or just wants to perfect a high school resume, I would highly recommend this course for you because unlike many of regular classes in high school, this course goes into much detail on how the United States became what it is today. It also a combination of both English and History because it improves or increases your thinking or analytical skills.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was the teacher and the students. I learned how to analyze a primary source documents.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

For anyone planning to take this course, my advice would be to read the chapters assigned by the professor. It is extremely important because you might not understand what the professor is teaching and that might lead to some problems. Also, try to participate in class activities because it is an important part of your grade. This was one of my weaknesses because I am very shy person. Read and proofread every single paper assignments given by the professor because some professors are strict on papers while others, are not as strict. Finally, beware of due dates. Most people that I know that were not doing well in that class was they do the assignment a day before the due date. It is important to get the assignments done before the due date because it saves on time and energy. Finally, try your best and remember to have fun.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This guy is very tough. 40% of the grade is based on 4, 10 question T/F quizzes and the questions are absolutely insane. That alone threw me off and made it tough for me to do well.

    Course highlights:

I mean I did learn about US History from a different perspective but the way learning was grade is what I truly didn't like. It is rare that you spend a lot of time in a history class analyzing source documents and I did kind of enjoy this.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read all the readings in depth and make sure you use the first quiz as a guide for the type of questions he asks on the quizzes. Discussion questions will be similar to the essay question on the midterm so use that as well.
