    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Very easy class, any understanding of Java will make this class easy, just make sure you understand basic method and class creation and some basic data structures, tests usually multiple choice and not difficult

    Course highlights:

Basic Java syntax and programming, some Data Structures and their implementations

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Just make sure you do all the homework and bring a good test review sheet

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

As long as you perform all of the homework and labs you will be fine. Jeff goes off on strange tangents sometimes, but a point is always eventually reached

    Course highlights:

I learned Java. In future years Python will be the program of choice. So you will learn that.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do. The. Homework. Ahead of time.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class can be fun as Jeff likes to throw jokes and memes into his presentation. The workload is very light, a single homework assignment every week.

    Course highlights:

If you have any background in Java, this class will be very easy.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Jeff's likes to give take home and group exams which are essentially an automatic 100. Final and other solo exams use similar format and questions from the group exams. The homework can be challenging though if you don't go to class.
