    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class wasn't difficult. Very few "pop" quizzes and the lectures were just him elaborating on the readings. The midterm was open notes and he practically fed us what we needed to know with the study guides. This course focused on transnational feminisim, globalization, and LGBTQIA rights in other countries. The readings and this one book were boring, but this class is far from difficult. His slides were very simple. Most notes are from what he says, but a lot of it is common sense.

    Course highlights:

I learned more about what organizations are out there fighting for social justice. I also learned more about the LGBT communities in other countries and how different they are from the LGBT community in the US. Transnational feminism is a big part. I actually appreciated how the teacher removes a lot of stress about assignments and the one exam we had.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Of course you'll have to put in some work depending on what type of learner you are. The books are crucial to the class so read!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I learned a lot from this class and the gender and globalization from all over the world.

    Course highlights:

We learned about genders that aren't always taught in school and that go beyond men and women.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I suggest reading all the books and texts that are provided in the class. There is a lot of reading but the classics interesting.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Huff was kind and respectful to all students. She really made sure that we knew the information and helped us throughout the course. When it came to the course paper, she allowed you to submit a rough draft for her to grade and comment on.

    Course highlights:

Even though it was a general education requirement, she made people want to learn about the material. She was engaging and helpful throughout the semester.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Follow the advice that she gives you. When she gives you study guides or allows you to submit a paper early, do it. It's those simple things that will get you an A in the class.
