Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to all, not just science majors. This is a foundational course that will ground any incoming college student (or ambitious high school senior). It pushes students to change the way they think and go about learning something new. It sets the stage for any challenging course to come.

    Course highlights:

This course taught me more about myself than it did Biology. Yes, I learned quite a bit about phylogeny and animal behavior, but I learned more about my ability to adapt. This adaption has allowed me to thrive in other courses giving me confidence and security. It was a very demanding course that was worth the work.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to change the way you think about studying.
